We purchased a new, semi-custom 29’ pilothouse patrol boat from Rock Salt Alloy Boats nearly two years ago.

The sales, design, production and office folks at Rock Salt were absolutely wonderful to work with.  Responsive, engaged, honorable, effective and friendly.

The boat is exactly what we wanted and exactly how we wanted it.  The quality of workmanship was first rate – welding, wiring, joinery, mechanical.

We’ve had two small problems with the boat (cracked side window and faulty footrest) and when we called Rock Salt they had a repair person to take care of the problem onsite within days (even though the problems were not operational/safety issues).

The process of designing the boat, building the boat, testing the boat and, finally, delivering the boat were faultless.  As with all government purchases there is a good level of concern about delays, cost overruns, shoddy workmanship.  You can be assured that you will not have these worries with these folks at Rock Salt.
